Brockville – Kawartha Credit Union partners with the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation to sell tickets for the 10th Anniversary Heart and Solstice Celebration

Attendees will have an opportunity to visit the breathtaking Sifton Estate Assiniboine Lodge on Thursday, June 21, with beautiful river views and immaculate grounds, to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Heart and Solstice.

“We are super excited to be partnering with them (Brockville and District Hospital Foundation), for such a prestigious event,” said Kawartha Credit Union Branch Manager Kathryn Ruttimann. “It is the 10th Anniversary of the Heart and Solstice event and community involvement is the heart of Kawartha Credit Union. It is something we take very seriously. We spend a lot of time volunteering and making our communities better.”

Starting at 5:30 to 8 p.m., the evening will include a variety of appetizers from local restaurants, served with a choice of wine or beer. During this event, auction items will be available to place a bid.

Funds raised from the Heart and Solstice goes directly to Brockville General Hospital’s Cardiovascular Program, which does not receive any government funding. It costs $181,000 per year, to operate.

Also, Kawartha Credit Union annually supports the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation through their Community Involvement Program. As far as Kathryn is concerned, “This is a simple way for us to have an impact on this event, by selling the tickets. It is an easy, easy way for us, to make a small difference.”
