Annual Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Ride Stopping in Prescott on Saturday

Prescott – The annual Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Ride Kingston and the Islands is being held this Saturday, June 10th in support of Special Olympics Ontario.

The rides starts out from Kingston Police Headquarters (705 Division St.) at 9:30am and travels through the most scenic routes of Eastern Ontario through the Thousand Islands to Fort Wellington in Prescott where they will arrive to a charity (by donation) BBQ lunch, events at the Fort and a chance to fire the cannons.

Fort Wellington in Prescott will host a Kingston and the Islands Law Enforcement Torch Ride stop on Saturday, June 10 at about 11:30 a.m. More than 100 motorcycles and riders from throughout the region are expected.

The public is invited to attend the barbecue hosted by Brockville and Area Special Olympics athletes and volunteers. Someone will win a chance to fire the big cannon at the national historic site.

There will be a wrap-up party back in Kingston at RAXX starting at 5PM with prizes, awards, draws, pool, etc.

The Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Ride is a provincial fundraising motorcycle program directly benefiting over 23,000 Special Olympics Ontario athletes with an intellectual disability.

To participate in the Torch Ride, please register online and agree to the attached waiver. Collect donations from all your friends, family, co-workers and anyone who would like to support Special Olympics Ontario!

TIME: Registration at 8:00 a.m. Ride Starts at 9:30 a.m. sharp

STARTING LOCATION: Kingston Police Headquarters (705 Division St.)

REGISTRATION FEE: Rider: $25.00 or $150.00 in fundraising, Two UP (Rider with Passenger): $30.00 or $200 in fundraising

Fort Wellington – Prescott: June 10, 2017 from 11:30am to 2:30pm
