Brockville – The annual Doors Open Brockville-Thousand Islands is being held this weekend in Brockville and the surrounding area.

Doors Open runs on Saturday, May 27th and Sunday, May 28th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at 34 sites ranging from museums to art galleries, gardens to churches, and more around our region.

New sites this year will include, 1000 Islands Village in Augusta Township, Dominion Lighthouse in Prescott, the Frontenac Arch Biosphere near Ivy Lea and the Rotary Clock Tower in Prescott.

Some of the returning locations will include, Brockville Museum, Brockville Public Library, Brockville Lawn Bowling Club, Burnbrae Farms Ltd., Chillane Gardens, Brockville First Baptist Church, Brockville First Presbyterian Church Fort Wellington NHS, Prescott’s Forwarders’ Museum , Fulford Academy, Fulford Place Museum, Grenville County Historical Society, Heritage Place Museum in Lyn, Homewood Museum, Long Point School House, Mallory Coach House, Maplehurst, Manor and Carriage House, Marianne Van Silfhout Gallery, Old Stone Mill N.H.S, Springfield House and LTI Archives, St. John’s United Church in Brockville, St. Lawrence Anglican Church, The Brockville Rifles Armouries, The Colonel’s Inn, The Green Gecko, Township of Athens and Area Museum and Van Berlo Gardens.

Doors Open is a province-wide program where community cultural sites open their doors and provide free access to the public. With 34 sites ranging from museums to art galleries, gardens to churches, and more, there is something for everyone to explore this May 27-28 in the Brockville-Thousand Islands Region!

Grab your friends and family and plan to spend the day or weekend enjoying the stunning views along the St. Lawrence River and getting to know the many beautiful towns of the region – from Prescott to Delta to Mallorytown!
