Brockville – ACOTTI announces the First Annual Mayor’s Dinner for the Arts with the presentation of the ACOTTI Arts Awards (Visual Arts) taking place in Brockville on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 5:30 pm. The Mayor’s dinner will be held at the Brockville Country Club.
The Arts Council of the Thousand Islands (ACOTTI) is pleased to welcome Guest Speaker, Christina Chrysler, curator of the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery at St. Lawrence College Brockville campus for our dinner. Christina has been involved with ACOTTI for a couple of years. We are thrilled to have her as our guest speaker. We wish to raise awareness of our organization and in turn promote our ongoing programs and events. We have events that serve the needs of our members and support the mission of the organization. ACOTTI’s Chair, Howard Alexander says, “The Arts Council is excited to be the host for the First Annual “Mayor’s Dinner For The Arts”. Visual artists and artisans will now receive important community recognition for their contributions to the vitality and quality of life in Brockville. The dinner will feature the presentation of two Awards celebrating artistic excellence in Brockville and area.”
