Gananoque – The ninth annual Chalk the Walk 1000 Islands International Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival is taking place this Saturday, May 27th in Gananoque.
It runs from 10:ooam to 3:00pm in the Town Park. Registration opens at 10:00am, and costs $2 (including chalk).
Meet Award-winning Children’s Literature Illustrator Wallace Edwards, see local artist David Day works his “sidewalk magic” and meet Joe Campbell – The Bee Man! As well there will be a community BBQ hosted by the 2nd Gananoque Scouts, Dr. Orchestra’s One Man Band, Spare Change live and much more.
The fun-filled family event showcases art for all ages, including sidewalk chalk art, paintings, drawings, and fine art.
