Brockville – The 5th round of participants of the Starter Company Plus program hosted by the Leeds Grenville Small Business Enterprise Centre have completed their program.

Four of the seven graduates were on hand on Tuesday morning at the Leeds Grenville Small Business Enterprise Centre.

Shulameet Ber Levtov, Compassionate Support for Stressful Times (CSST)

Theo Graham, Songwood Contracting

Jennifer Winter, Ignite Printing

The program assists businesses in existence for 1 to 5 years; a business looking to expand or an entrepreneur looking to purchase an existing business. The program in funded through the Province of Ontario as part of the economic strategy that strengthens job creation in an innovation-driven economy.

The next Starter Company Plus Program is set to begin in March.

To qualify for the Starter Company Plus Program you must be:

• 18 years of age or older
• an Ontario resident and Canadian citizen (or permanent resident)
• not attending school full-time or returning to school
• able to contribute 25% of the grant in kind or cash

The 6 month program includes:
• one-on-one guidance from a Small Business Enterprise Centre advisor
• Business plan workshop, coaching and mentorship
• Up to $5,000 grant

Culinary Creations by Mark Beacock;

Beacock is a Red Seal Chef and a Level 2 Master Chocolatier. Mark offers a healthier lifestyle through the quality products from locally foraged delicacies and sources the finest ingredients from the most reputable distributors. Mark produces of the most exquisite and delightful chocolate assortment. Mark also will cater private events preparing delicious meals for small groups in your home. Theo Graham, Songwood Contracting;

Tikvah Mindorff, Arts & Craft Collective;

is an artist centre located on King St in Gananoque. The vision of Arts & Craft Collective is to enrich and support arts culture in Gananoque and the 1000 Islands region. The mission is to engage both

Natalie Sobhie, Maid to Shine;

is a residential and commercial cleaning business located in Prescott serving the Ottawa
