Delta – The 52nd edition of the Delta Maple Syrup Festival was held this past Saturday and Sunday at the Delta Fairgrounds.
Close to 1400 people came out over the two days to savour the pancakes and fresh local maple syrup. Although the numbers were down from last year, it was a good turnout for Easter weekend.
It featured pancakes, sausages and of course fresh local maple syrup. Out side were many vendors, most local Maple Syrup producers. There was also a craft market, Easter egg hunt, many kids activities, Rideau Lakes Fire Department Display and many more through-out the village.
Funds raised from the annual event go to the upkeep of the fairgrounds.
