4 New COVID Cases Reported Today’s Report – Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit Covid-19 Update – Tuesday, December 8, 2020

Brockville – Four new cases reported in today’s Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit Covid-19 update.

There is currently one active outbreak in long term care (LTC) facilities. Fox Run in Gananoque/Leeds & 1000 Islands

*Cases are reported from data collected at 4:00pm the previous day.

Total of 534 cases and 53 deaths in Leeds, Grenville and Lanark. 442 of cases recovered (Recovered cases do not include deaths).

  • 4 new cases
  • 39 active cases (Community-37, Health Care Worker-2)
  • 1 newly recovered
  • 0 currently hospitalized
  • 0 in ICU
  • 0 on ventilator
  • 0 new deaths

Active Community-based Cases:

  • UCLG East – 11 cases,
  • UCLG Central – 5 cases,
  • UCLG West – 9 cases,
  • Lanark West – 9 cases,
  • Lanark East – 4 cases

To provide some data by place of residence, Lanark, Leeds and Grenville has been grouped into sub-regions to describe the distribution of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in our region.
