The DIFA foundation was founded by Kelly and Willy Stevenson after the tragic loss of their son Aaron. The festival was a way to ensure Aaron’s love for music would live on.
Proceeds from the festival will provide much needed funding for the community’s youth. The original DIFA festival raised $33000 donated to Brockville’s 3 high schools. This supported their music departments and enabled them to expand their programs. The second festival did just as well and they hope to make this year’s festival bigger and better.
