39th Annual Farmersville Exhibition Being Held This Weekend in Athens

Athens – The 39th Annual Farmersville Exhibition is set for this weekend, July 20th to 22nd at the Centennial/Centre 76 Fairgrounds in Athens.

The 2018 fair which is presented by the Lions Club of Athens will feature all lines of vintage tractors, trucks and vintage equipment. This year the feature tractor is ‘Case’.

There will be Steam-powered engines and other equipment in operation, Vintage Machinery operating and on display, Antique Cars, Trucks, and Motorcycles, a Craft fair, Children’s Amusements and more.

On Friday R & B – Country Music from 6:30-9:00 pm at the Festive Gardens.

Saturday is the Shriner’s Breakfast from 7:00-10:30 am, Craft fair 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Vintage Tractor Pull – 12:00 noon start and R & B – Country Music from 12:00-4:00 pm.

On Sunday the Shriner’s Breakfast runs from 7:00-10:30 am, Craft fair 10:00 am – 4:30 pm, Horse Draw – 11:00 am start at the Horse Paddock and Old Tyme Country Music from 12:00-4:00pm.

Grounds open at 9:00 am on Saturday and Sunday.

General admission on Friday evening is $5. Saturday & Sunday admission is $10 per day or $15 for the weekend. Children under 12 years admitted free.
