30th Annual 1000 Island Poker Run Taking Place Saturday

Brockville – The 30th annual 1000 Island Poker Run is set to take place this Saturday, August 18th starting out in Kingston with stops in Brockville, Prescott and Gananoque.

More than 80 performance boats will dock in the Confederation Basin Marina, on public display Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. When the flag drops at 10 AM on Saturday, the fleet will follow a course up the St. Lawrence River to Brockville, then on to Prescott, then back down through Gananoque, before returning to Kingston at more than 80 Miles per hour!

The stop in Brockville is a lunch stop and spectators will have a chance to see the boats. The boats are expected to be arriving in Brockville around noon.

You can view these spectacular boats at all the card stops, or from the comfort of your own boat as part of the spectator fleet.

The Friday evening events include a downtown street party, exhibits, and the exciting poker hand reveal – join them to see who wins the title of King of the 1000 Islands!



12:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Poker Run Registration, Boat Launching, and Trailer parking – Confederation Park, Ontario Street.
12:00pm – 10:00 pm: Ontario Street Closure. Poker Run Boat registration and street display in front of Confederation Park & Memorial City Hall.
9:00 pm: Welcome Party – Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill – 2nd Floor. 330 King Street East, Kingston, ON


7:00 am: Poker Runner Breakfast is available at the Delta Hotel.
8:00 am: Mandatory Drivers Meeting (Card #1 Issued at Driver’s Meeting)
10:00 am: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES! – Kingston Confederation Basin
12:00: Lunch at Tall Ships South Coast Grille, (Card Stop #2).
2:00 PM: Prescott Card Boats (Card Stop #3)
2:45 pm: Gananoque Municipal Marina – Boat Museum Docks (Card #4)
4:00 PM: Confederation Basin Marina – (Card #5)
6:30 PM: Cocktails and dinner – Greek Hall – 121 Johnson St. Kingston.

12:00 PM: Charity Ride of a Lifetime
An exhilarating experience for the general public to have the opportunity to ride on one of the poker run boats. Each seat is $200 and donated to Charity. We will be booking 20 min rides starting at 12 pm.
