3 New COVID Cases, 22 Active Cases Reported this Morning in Today’s Report – Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit Covid-19 Update – January 21, 2021
Brockville – Three new cases*, (1 new case in last 24hrs) and 22* active cases reported in today’s Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit Covid-19 update.
There are currently 2 hospitalized and 1 in ICU.
*Cases are reported from data collected at 4:00pm the previous day.
*Active cases can be recovering at home or admitted to a hospital depending on symptom severity.
The case count has climbed from 778 to 781, 1 newly resolved cases for a total of 705 of cases recovered. (Recovered cases do not include deaths).

It replaces the Health Unit’s daily COVID-19 surveillance report and map. The replacement surveillance report contains local COVID-19 case data from March 26, 2020 to present. To align with the Ministry of Health’s reporting system, the daily summary is based on data collected up to 4:00pm the previous day. The report is posted on the Health Unit’s website Monday to Friday around 10:00am, except for statutory holidays.
When presenting statistics for a specific geographic area it is critical that individual case identity is preserved. To provide geographic data by place of residence, Lanark, Leeds and Grenville has been grouped into sub-regions to describe the distribution of the people who have tested positive for COVID-19 and for currently active cases in our region.
For best viewing results expand the dashboard to full screen mode using the controls in the lower right-hand corner of the report. Choose the desired tab at the top of the report. You can choose custom date ranges using the date slider or by clicking on the date to access the drop-down calendar. The report is formatted for viewing on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. The report is best viewed in landscape orientation on tablets and mobile devices.
