Athens – The second annual Country in the Park in support of Community & Primary Health Care (CPHC) was held this past Saturday at Centennial Park in Athens.
Around 230 people took in Saturday’s charity event that ran from 11:00am to 9:00pm. It feature performances by Jordy Jackson, Danny Sylvestre, Craig Curtis, Brea Lawrenson, Julie Serre de St Jean, Angie Halladay, Pat Johnson and Ron & Joy Edgeley.
The event raised just over $5,000 which will go to help the many programs that CPHC delivers throughout Lanark, Leeds & Grenville.
CPHC has been providing strength, hope, and empowerment to seniors for over 100 years. CPHC’s mandate is to provide services that enable seniors to live in their own homes and communities for as long and healthy as possible while maintaining their safety with independence and dignity.
