Gates Open at 11:00am!
Brockville – The 17th annual Brockville Ribfest in support of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Leeds & Grenville begins this morning at 11:00am at Hardy Park. It runs Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There will be a Kidz Zone, vendor village, food booths, Beer Tent, Pony Rides and a petting zoo, volleyball tournament, Lift For Kids Sake, Arm wrestling competition, fishing derby, The Howard Travel Rib Eating Contest, and 8 ribbers.
As well entertainment all weekend will include, Dan Schaafsma, The Grand Jook, Jonny Canuck, Mandee Woods, Ambush, Ryan Annable, Marleen Fawcett, 21 Gun Salute, Healy & Orr and more.
As well this year in conjuction with Rails to Trails there are shuttle busses operating between parking areas in the north to City Hall Downtown.
Shuttle services will be available at two locations:
Brockville Shopping Centre, 125 Stewart Blvd and
Brockville Memorial Centre, 100 Magedoma Blvd.
The shuttle service will be running on a continuous loop connecting both locations and dropping/picking up at City Hall. Signage will be posted.

August 12: 9am-10pm
August 13: 10am-6pm
The funds raised from this yearly event goes to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Leeds & Grenville for the many programs it provides to children across Leeds & Grenville.
