Lansdowne – The 154th edition of the Lansdowne Fair is set to take place this weekend from Friday, July 20th to Sunday, July 22nd at the Lansdowne Fairgrounds.
On Thursday the midway opens to the public with free admission to the fairgrounds at 6:00pm. Gates open on Friday at 3:00pm with an Antique Tractor and Machinery Show, Pony Pull, Mini King & Queen contest, Horse Draw and more. Opening Ceremonies begin at 6:30pm.
Saturday gates open at 8:00am and will feature Heavy Horse Show, Pie Eating Contest, Harness Racesdemolition Derby and the annaul Fair Parade which starts out at 12 noon.
Sunday will see a Pancake Breakfast, Chainsaw Challenge, Antique/Classic Car Show, Kid’s Pig Scrabble, Truck & Tractor Pull and much more.
Musical Entertainment over the weekend will include, Old Time Country, County Road 5 Bluegrass, Picket Fences, and The Silvertones.
Admission to the fair for Adults (13 & up) is $8 Friday, $10 Saturday & Sunday. Kids 12 and under admitted free. Individual weekend pass is $22 at the gates.
