Brockville – The 11th annual 1000 Islands Regatta is set to be held this Canada Day long weekend in Downtown Brockville.
Everything gets underway this Friday with The G-Men & Mark Bergman opening for April Wine. Hydroplane racing from 10:00am to 4:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Cheer on our local racers, Kent Henderson & Bert Henderson in H-777 & GP-777, Steve Armstrong in F-69, Tyler Kaddatz in F-519 and area native Ryan Slate RS Watersports and The Lone Ranger – CS 49.
This year’s festival sees an influx in activities in addition to the hydroplane races with a focus on musical entertainment & an expanded
kid’s zone. This year’s festival will be a truly well rounded family event jam packed with entertainment for all ages.
There will be Food vendors & Craft Vendors lining Blockhouse Island. Fat Les’ serving award winning poutine. There to compete is Big D’s Doghouse – with 19 different ways to make your food offerings, among other returning vendors.
Saturday night will see The Trews take to the stage and TONY SILVESTRI BAND & Bourne To Rock on Sunday followed by the Canada Day Fireworks.
Daily show passes only available at the gate for $30 and subject to capacity. Saturday & Sunday Race only pass available at the gate: $20.
Kids are admitted free. No Charge Entry. Fun for the whole family with the ever expanding KIDS ZONE.
