Brockville – What started as a 55th Wedding Anniversary grew into one of the best regular jamborees in Eastern Ontario, benefitting the Brockville General Hospital’s Palliative Care Program.
Each July, the Patterson family organizes an amazing week-end of country music with returning campers and new visitors coming from as far away as Sudbury and North Bay to enjoy jamming. With so much talent, musicians and walk-ins jam with others in the Patterson barn, which has a stage, a 30×40 dance floor and a loft for the silent auction.
On Saturday night, the popular barbecue dinner is offered for $20 and people must reserve in advance. This year $1,500 was raised with income tax receipts issued.

The date for next year’s jamboree is July 5 to July 8 with dancing, a silent auction and share the wealth. So bring your chair, a drink, dancing shoes, and your wallet; all for a great cause!
