COVID-19 Campaign Encourages and Motivates Canadians to Self-Isolate, Stay Healthy and Maintain Physical Distancing
TORONTO – Stay At Home Heroes is proud to launch their National PSA Campaign in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The campaign was rapidly put into motion with the goal of creating and delivering content to Canadian citizens during this unprecedented crisis that motivates and provides information on how to self-isolate, stay healthy, and maintain social and physical distancing.
Stay At Home Heroes provides a platform for powerful, diversified, viral content which features Canadian citizens, celebrities, experts, people in need, and crisis authorities in order to support useful and reputable information at a time when Canadians are in need of engaging and motivating content. The virtual friendly style of the campaign means that all content is created either at home or adheres to positive self-isolation practices.
Some of the topics the campaign will be covering include useful and accurate information on COVID-19, how to help others in times of need and how to do it safely, physical and mental health, employment support, recreation and entertainment, calm thinking and planning, and much more.
“It is incredibly important for me to help create and launch this campaign. With my experience in technology I see a huge opportunity for Stay at Home Heroes to use the power of technology, the internet, and social media to help all Canadians during this chaotic and confusing time.” Said Fulvio Ciano, Founder, Stay at Home Heroes. “I am proud to have connected and assembled a team of talented subject matter experts that share my same passion. “Being part of this campaign and spreading the word about the importance of staying home is important to me.” Said Martina Ortiz-Luis, Actress and Official Anthem Singer of the Toronto Maple Leafs. “We’re still seeing people choose to go out in groups, months after this pandemic has found its way to our country, spreading the message amongst younger people especially is significant because although we are less likely to be severely affected by this virus, we are NOT immune and pretty much have the power to make or break the spread of this virus. I really think when everyone comes together, as a Nation, we have the ability to really make an impact and plank the curve.”
“As a COVID19 survivor, it is extremely important that people understand the seriousness of social distancing and the importance of recognizing symptoms and signs of the virus.” Said Mary Zilba, COVID19 Survivor, TV Personality, Singer, and Producer.
