SMITHS FALS – The Smiths Falls Home & Living Expo is coming to the County Fair Mall this weekend, Saturday May 6 and Sunday May 7. This year we’ll be Celebrating 150 Years of Cottage Life in the Heart of the Rideau.
There will be a large number of vendors featuring products and services for your home or cottage, including: construction, renos & repairs, roofing, real estate, computers, windows & doors, overhead doors, computers & internet, security systems, plumbing & heating, landscaping, cars & trucks, antiques & collectibles, pools & hot tubs, bbq’s, deck & window shades, pest & weed control, fireplaces & woodstoves, travel trailers, etc.
And remember, this is not just a home show. Come and see products and services that make living more enjoyable. Something to complement your lifestyle. You’ll find vendors featuring makeup, handy products for your kitchen or making house cleaning easier, social and health services, local tourist information & attractions, cottage rentals, wine making, home accents & flags, food ideas & samples, volunteer opportunities, exercise, art & art framing, photography, songs, poetry, storytelling, and much more.
A new local brewer will be on hand to tell you about their products and their new location in the Mall. There will be a huge G-scale model railroad display. A cute bouncy castle for the kids will be there. Speaking of little ones, are you thinking of bringing a new one into this world soon? Come talk to the Doula. Or, if you’re old (like the organizers of this event!) and thinking about making a graceful transition to the next life, see the Thanadoula. If you’re hungry after all of this have a snack at the Urban Jungle Challenge BBQ, or see the unique offerings in the Food Court.
The Expo runs Saturday from 10 a.m to 6 p.m, and Sunday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
Plenty of free parking. For more information, check us out on Facebook, or at www.smithsfallshomelivingexpo.com. Come celebrate the redevelopment of the Mall, and the wonderful things we have to enjoy living in the Heart of the Rideau.
