Friday September 30

We’ve got the beat Candlelight dinner with Caribbean, South American & African influences at St. John’s Anglican Church, Prescott. There are two seatings at 5 & 6pm. Tickets at the door $15 and wine available for purchase.

Architek Percussion Quartet will be performing Marimba Plus – jazz, world music and pop influences – Fri. 30th Sep. @ 7:30pm at St. Andrew’s Church on Centre St. Tickets at the door. More info.

Saturday October 1

Fall Fair St John’s United Church, Cardinal. Bake sale and craft fair from 9-3pm. Tea from 11am-2pm. Adults $6 children $3 the 5 and under free. Special children’s event runs during tea time- bring your child dressed as their favorite character or super hero. A photo op, games and prizes will be available. Costumes will also be available for children to use if you don’t have one at home!

Join the members of St Paul’s United Church, Prescott for a Spaghetti dinner with entertainment  from 5pm to 7pm. Cost Adults: $10.00, children between 5 & 12: $5.00. Kids under 5 eat free!

Sunday October 2

Harvest thanksgiving Service at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Cardinal beginning at 9.30am. New Prayer books will be dedicated in Memory of Dolores Wells during the service. Coffee and tea will follow in the Church Hall.

Gospel Evening #17 at St John’s United Church, Cardinal begins at 7pm featuring Lynn Barkley, the choir and friends of St John’s and special Guests Joyce Lindsey, Charlie Stone, Brain Purcell and special guest appearance by Ben Vreeman. Preshow music will begin at 6.30 and a light lunch will follow in the church hall. A free will offering will be collected.

The final Blue Church candlelight evensong will begin at 6.30 at the Historic Blue Church on Hwy#2 between Prescott and Maitland. Please bring your flashlight! Freewill offering helps maintain church and cemetery.
