Winchester – Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) is committed to helping our local communities stay healthy. We are pleased to announce two new community education programs being offered. All sessions are free of charge.
“We want patients and families to be partners in their care,” explains Cholly Boland, CEO. “These education sessions are one way that we connect with our local communities and share important preventative health care information.”
The Seaway Valley Community Health Centre and WDMH are presenting a six-week program for people living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The goal is to help patients and family members better manage this condition. The sessions take place each Monday from March 30th to May 4th from 9:30 to 11:30 am at WDMH. To register, please call 613-774-2422 ext. 6352.
