Brockville Museum Winter Lecture Series

Five top-notch guest speakers will be participating this winter in the Brockville Museum’s 17th annual Winter Lecture series. As experts in their respective fields, they will present topics that you will find both relevant and interesting!

February 4th: “Lady Franklin and the Franklin Expedition” by Dr. Erika Behrisch Elce of the Royal Military College

February 11th: “From the 39 Steps to the Steps of Rideau Hall” by author J. William (Bill) Galbraith

February 18: “Veil of Secrecy” by author Dan Black

February 25: “Donald Trump and the Rust Belt 5: The Populist Politics of Deindustrialization” by Dr. Steven High of Concordia University

March 3: “Revitalizing the Rideau; Taking an Old Gem into a New Era” by Peter McFarland, General Manager of the Opinicon Dining & Resort

Tickets $15 per lecture or $50 for all 5 lectures (a 33% saving). Advance purchase is required. All tickets are available through the Brockville Arts Centre box office.

All lectures will be presented in the Carriage Hall of the Brockville Museum, 5 Henry St., Brockville. Lectures start at 10 a.m. sharp (doors will open at 9:30 a.m.). Light refreshments will be served during a break.
